Best Blood Pressure Apps Ready for 2025

BreathNow blood pressure app adds new features for 2025

Looking for the perfect blood pressure mobile companion? Here's our analysis of the top BP apps updated for 2025, including the recently added features.

IMPORTANT

At the time of creating this post (December 2024) all mobile apps require an external blood pressure monitor to take BP readings. The technology which would allow users to take blood pressure readings on their phones by applying fingertips to a phone camera  is not available yet. We are aware about the development work in this space by some serious companies and will provide updates once this technology becomes commercially available.

If your BP monitor has a Bluetooth connection, you will be able to link it to your iPhone or Android phone and then BP readings will be automatically downloaded into your Apple Health or Android Health Connect accounts. Otherwise you have to enter blood pressure readings into the trackers of these apps manually.

As of December 2024 you can not take a BP reading with your Apple Watch either. You can use your  Apple Watch however in several ways to lower blood pressure (see more on this below).

We selected the 5 apps below based on two criteria: 1. They are the most popular blood pressure apps. 2. They have an average user rating of at least  4.7.

Let’s dive into their main features, new features added recently for 2025 and user feedback to help you find the perfect companion for your heart health journey.
